MSF UI Fan Art

So, I play a mobile game called Marvel Strike Force, a while back I was off from work and had a bit of extra time. I decided to mock up a feature that I found was missing in the game, just for fun.

The feature is for an in game recruiting system. With a little bit of digging, I was able to find the original UI artist Kit, so thanks for that! I then brought that into photoshop and with a combination of screenshots taken from my phone, I mocked up what the feature could be.

Entering the feature would be done via the alliance button

From there a third button would be added to the pop up, which takes you to the recruitment screen.

The screen is broken up into 2 tabs. The Commanders tab is for alliances looking for members. Here you can filter by power level, the number of members in their current alliance, and time zone. Other important info that I felt should be displayed is user level which would be displayed by their name. Looking at this now, I would change the “members” info to language spoken, since communication is key in anything we do.

The Alliances tab is for when the user is looking to join an existing alliance. One thing that I thought would be fun, is if the top slot was a randomly featured alliance. This slot would be randomly filled from all alliances that are listed, and be featured for 6hrs or so. For important alliance info, I felt that alliance level, war league, alliance name and power, number of members, language and timezone were needed to be shown.

The last two images are the messages shown when the user clicks the post button, depending on the tab that you are in, the message will vary. ( I have since realized that the button structure is flipped, and the Confirm button should be the orange one.)
